Privacy policy

Below we explain why and on what legal basis we process personal data, and what rights you have.

Last updated: 16 September 2026 (draft — pending legal review)

Data controller

The controller of your personal data is TravelBus, based at ul. Przykładowa 1A, 00-000 Miasto, NIP 0000000000, REGON 000000000. For any matters concerning personal data, you can contact us at rezerwacje@example.com or by phone: +48 503 48 17 17.

Purposes and legal bases

We process personal data for the following purposes:

  • handling enquiries and preparing a rental quote (based on actions taken at your request before concluding a contract),
  • performing the van rental contract and handling settlements (to perform the contract),
  • phone and email contact regarding the booking (based on our legitimate interest),
  • establishing or defending against claims (based on our legitimate interest).

Analytics and cookies

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to collect aggregate visit statistics and measure website performance. The tool does not store cookies and does not track you across other websites. In this way we process technical data such as a shortened IP address and information about your device and browser, based on our legitimate interest. The provider of this service is Cloudflare, Inc.

Data recipients and processors

To operate this website we use external providers that process data only as far as necessary to deliver their service: Cloudflare (website hosting and CDN, aggregate visit and performance statistics, and technical server logs; Cloudflare Turnstile — anti-bot protection for the contact form, which processes the IP address and browser information), Resend (delivering the e-mails sent through the form) and Sanity (content management system and content delivery through its CDN). Providers may process data outside the EEA under standard contractual clauses.

Data retention period

We store data for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected: for the time needed to handle the enquiry and perform the contract, and afterwards for the period required by law (including tax and accounting regulations) or until any claims become time-barred.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, rectify it, erase it, restrict processing, transfer it, and object to processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office if you believe that the processing infringes the law.

Contact about personal data

Questions about the processing of personal data can be sent to rezerwacje@example.com, by phone at +48 503 48 17 17, or by post to: ul. Przykładowa 1A, 00-000 Miasto.
